‘Injustice 2’ story trailer makes Superman look like a real toolbag
By Tommy Robbins. Another day, another Injustice 2 story trailer. Only this time, we’re offered a little bit of insight into how exactly Superman came to be such a supreme ass. And whoo… just… just let us catch our breath.
The trailer, portentously titled “Shattered Alliances Part 1”, has plenty of that superhero in-fighting that made Injustice such a
disposable really intriguing game. With all of the game’s patented butting of the heads, primarily between Kevin Conroy’s Batman and George Newbern’s Superman, the trailer goes to work framing the controversy that ultimately put them at odds. Superman’s looking ready to go all in on his war on crime while Batman maintains his insufferable sanctimony. Also you can customize the outfits these guys will wear while they suss out this moral quandary with their fists. Video games!
From Netherrealm Studios:
Every villain is the hero of his own story. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today revealed a new trailer focusing on Superman’s™ character and background story for Injustice™ 2. Players will get the chance to learn more about how Superman™ and his Regime are working to rise to power once again, becoming one of Earth’s greatest threats.
Y’know. When the kids who play these games start kicking each other in the shins, maybe we’ll finally see the folly in making Superman look like a complete chump.
‘Injustice 2’ gives Zack Snyder a shitty high-five on May 19.
