By Jarrod Jones. Oh, that man. C’mon. What is he wearing.
Michael Fassbender, an actor so ubiquitous he can (and will) get away with playing both Magneto and Macbeth in a single year, stands before you as he will appear in Assassin’s Creed.
Fassbender, the man who boggles the mind nearly as often as he titillates the loins, will star as Callum Lynch — a character who has never appeared in a Creed video game before, but before you start destroying your keyboard in adorable gamer rage, you have to admit he has a name easier to pronounce than Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad, and it sounds vastly more interesting than Desmond Miles. (What–was he supposed to be jazz singer in another life?)
The video game adaptation, which will also star Marion Cotillard, Kenneth Williams and Ariane Labed, will infiltrate theaters December 21, 2016.
