By Tommy Robbins. The Tuesday following a good three day weekend is typically not something to celebrate. Dragging ass into the office and downing that extra cup of coffee, it’s typically spent re-realizing exactly why an extended weekend could never be the standard. If only we had some good news to ease that dull ache called adulthood.

Oh wait… Here we go!

Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have landed on a release date for the upcoming HD rehashterpiece, Batman: Return to Arkham, and along with it comes a side-by-side trailer to prove just where their hard work has gotten them. It’s easy to forget just how much has changed over the shift in console generations, but these comparisons do wonders in jogging our memory.

Originally, the remastered edition of the first two Arkham titles was slated for July, but Warner Bros. Entertainment was forced to push things back to an unspecified release, promising that the wait would ensure time enough to deliver the polished final product that their audience would expect. Now, after just a couple of months of waiting, we can see The Joker, Killer Croc, Catwoman, Penguin, and the Caped Crusader himself — all in their updated glory. So smooth. So shiny… Seriously, everyone is so shiny now.
