By Jarrod Jones. The days of “is it…? could it…? is it, though…? am I losing my mind…?” is ended.

That voice you’ve been hearing in all those Batman: Arkham Knight videos is indeed John Noble, so congratulations. Your ears are finely calibrated.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Rocksteady Studios released a video this morning, titled “The Voices of Arkham”, which featured old Arkham stalwarts Kevin Conroy (Batman), Tara Strong (Harley Quinn), Troy Baker (Two-Face), and Nolan North (Penguin). But that’s not news. None of that is news.

What we all wanted to know, and what the video below reveals so succinctly, is the identity of the all-of-a-sudden really goddamned freaky Scarecrow, and for legions of folks who never watched Fringe or Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (or played L.A. Noire, tsk tsk) the nagging question of, “is that… John Noble? nawww... “*dismissive hand wave* weighed heavily on their minds. And now the man with the booming, brassy baritone stands revealed… right behind that expensive Condenser microphone.

Oh, and Mike from Breaking Bad is Jim Gordon now. Huh.

Batman: Arkham Knight will break your subwoofer on June 23.
