Welcome back to yet another mighty DoomRocket preview of 2000 AD, where only the most scrotnig of sequentials are worthy enough to meet the gaze of you, our finest readers!
I hope the turn of the seasons has been an appropriately eerie one for all you terrans out there—filled with equally appropriate tales of creeps and eeps, either read from the page or viewed from a screen. Terror! That’s what the Mighty Tharg has in store for you this week, stories designed to thrill and chill you in equal measure!
First up, Hope! Mallory Hope, private investigator and dabbler in the dark arts, has made a proper mess of things and now he’s caught in a crow-fueled binge of hellscapes and visitations from The Duke himself! Will Mallory be able to lift himself out from the depths of this newfound low? Two Alka-Seltzers and a belt of the good stuff won’t be enough to set Hope straight this time—and you can bet there will be hell to pay!
Also this prog: Defoe continues its black-and-white gauntlet of shifty-eyed miscreants, gaunt minions, and debauched cretins! What new horrors will the Mills, Moore & De Ville bots have in store for us this week? Read on, my fellow squaxx, and spare a thought for the aforementioned ne’er-do-wells—they’ll rue the day they ever met the gaze of the man in the black-brimmed hat!
Don’t forget about the deliriously-great new subscription incentives for new and lapsed squaxx alike! Click here for more details on how you can have genuine Thrills sent to your home—plus a few surprises!
Earthlets! Lower your eyes and pay homage to this 10-page preview of prog 2154, courtesy of Tharg and his minions at 2000 AD!
